Generating Blog Traffic: 9 Productive Things You Can Do This Week For Your Blog

Pin me to your blog traffic tips boards!
1. Grow your Pinterest traffic based on your current trending blog posts.
Check your Google analytics for the top 10 posts in the last 30 days. Create two new pins for each of these top-performing blog posts.
Pinning fresh pins is always very helpful in generating blog traffic and it can happen very quickly.
Of course, you need to have the right Pinterest strategy to maximize the time and effort spent on Pinterest.
You can either schedule your pins on Tailwind or master your Pinterest marketing with this superb manual pinning strategy!

2. Republish posts to keep your blog updated.
Check your Google analytics in the last six months and look for five top-performing posts that have been published more than three months ago.
Update each of these posts with new affiliate links, Amazon ads, or new blog graphics and republish the posts.
This will help keep your blog fresh without having to write brand new posts which could be very time-consuming.
A blog is that updated will definitely be more favored by Google’s traffic than one that has been neglected for a long time!
3. Organize your entire blog business.

However, it is easy to get lost in all the social threads and comments that you might lose your focus and get distracted from your initial objectives
Therefore, you should be very mindful of the amount of time that you spend on these Facebook groups
Leave helpful comments when other bloggers ask questions it could help you boost your reputation as well as generate more blog traffic, get more eyes on your products and affiliate promotions!
Just be sure not to get sucked into unproductive discussions or criticisms.

6. Nurture your subscribers into loyal fans.
If you have been neglecting your subscribers on your mailing list, NOW is the time to send them a useful email.
I highly recommend that you email your list once a week to keep in touch.
That will not only help to bring consistent traffic to your blog and also build a familiar brand that your subscribers will love.
If you feel bad for neglecting your list, all the more you should send them an email THIS WEEK!
Include a short update about your life and make it personal and interesting.
It would also be a good idea to give your subscribers a freebie in your email.
After all who wouldn’t be happy to receive a surprise gift?
And of course, always remember to direct your subscribers to your most recent or popular blog posts to generate more blog traffic!
7. Grow your mailing list.
Do all your blog posts have lead magnets?
Is it easy for your readers to sign up to join your mailing list?
Is there a compelling reason to attract your readers to become subscribers?
Perhaps it’s time to create a new lead magnet to grow your email list!
A lead magnet doesn’t have to require a lot of time to create.
It could be a one-page checklist, a simple e-book that is made up of a compilation of your blog posts of one particular topic, or an email challenge.

An easy and time-saving way to write a new blog post is to look into your past email campaigns and expand it further to create a useful blog post.

9. Invest in your blog education.
You might ask, “What has learning about blogging has to do with generating blog traffic?”
Well, the answer is, “LOTS!”
If you see your blog as your business, then you would agree that certain investments are necessary to grow your business.
One absolutely essential investment is to invest in your blogging education.
Set aside 30 minutes this week to go through one of the blogging courses that you have purchased but haven’t dived into.
There is always something that you can learn from another blogger.
Investing time and money improving your blogging skills is definitely imperative in growing your blog business, including generating more traffic.
